The Military Tribute and Wall of Courage

Spiritual health is an important factor in maintaining a sound family environment. Recognition of service to our country creates a strong moral sense of duty and helps to develop strong family values and a solid foundation for success in life.

The Military Tribute Project provides an art tribute to honor the past, present, and future members of our armed forces.

The Military Tribute started as a Special Education class project at Oak Hill Elementary School, teacher Angie Hazel, and is now receiving support from many organizations.

The Project was completed this summer, and the official dedication of the memorial took place on Veterans Day, 2007.

This project, consisting of three life-size bronze statues and a "Wall of Courage", is permanently installed in Grape Day Park, Escondido, California, to honor all members of he U.S. Armed Forces who have served in the past, are serving in the present, and will serve in the future.

Individual name plaques which are permanently installed on the "Wall of Courage" may be purchased in honor of family members or friends at $250 each.

Corporate or individual sponsors are encouraged to donate to The Military Tribute Art Project in any amount. All donors who give $2,500 or more will receive a complimentary mini-tri-bust sculpture, signed by the Artist, Gale Pruitt.
